Our team members hail from far flung NZ, Australia and even France and include Gen X to Z.
Despite any differences our shared passion for regional NZ, quirky rebellious streak and drive to be extraordinary have brought us together. Like popcorn and ice cream, we are a weird combination that works so well together!

DIRECTOR
Ben started Numeric (now Moxie) in 2015 and has a 20 year career in specialist search in the UK, Australia and NZ. Ben is Waikato born and bred but now based in New Plymouth and supports clients across Taranaki, Manawatu, Hawkes Bay, Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
Solving tricky problems for clients, making good things happen, things that you know wouldn’t have without your input. Pretty cheesy!
What do you enjoy doing with your spare time?
Spare time? Hanging out with family, walking, occasionally skateboarding. Travel and food!

Whitakers Fruit & Nut chocolate. Coffee, coffee and then gin.

Originally from France, Perrine is now officially hard core having been living in Taranaki for the past 7 years. Perrine has four years recruitment experience and has been focused on specialist search with Numeric / Moxie since 2022.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy – Searching! I also enjoy getting to know our clients. We work with many interesting businesses, and it’s very nice to understand what they do and to have them sharing their passionwith us. Making a difference in people’s lives—helping clients find the perfect candidate for their key/ technical roles and helping candidates find the ideal next step in their careers—all through a smooth and seamless process!

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, and I love traveling and discovering new cultures.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
I love the variety; the ability consults with clients and the challenge of matching the right person to the organisation or role for them. All made so much better by the great team of people I work with.
What do you enjoy doing with your spare time?
I love catching up with friends and family, watching kids’ sports, travelling and reading a good book – I really must get out more!

A lovely cocktail with friends, or a glass of wine and a seafood BBQ are my idea of happiness – in summer!!

Lauren is the OG New Plymouth local and joined Numeric / Moxie in 2023, bringing with her 6 years experience in HR & Health and Safety from the Oil & Gas Industry. Lauren supports Moxie clients across the country and, in particular, Taranaki.
